Speaker Bios:

Janeen Vilven-Doggett practices in the areas of litigation and transitional matters. She is a member of the New Mexico bar and a registered patent attorney. Dr. Vilven-Doggett received her B.A. in Biology from Baylor University in 1986 and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of New Mexico in 1997. She received her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2001.

Jeffrey D. Myers practices with Peacock Myers, P.C. in the area of intellectual property, including U.S. and international patent protection of computer sciences, optical, mechanical, electrical, and chemical inventions; federal, state, and international protection of trademarks, servicemarks, and tradenames by registration application and under unfair competition laws; and U.S. and international copyright protection. He has substantial expertise in the protection of computer software, Internet and business methods, optics techologies, environmental remediation technologies, homeland security technologies, and works of art and in intellectual property licensing. Mr. Myers is admitted to practice law in New Mexico, Colorado, and New York, before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and in a number of federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
